Seeing My Children for the First Time
One of my life’s most precious memories is the first time I got to see my children for the first time. For my biological children, this was when my wife had the first ultrasound of the pregnancy. Seeing that little peanut on the screen is something that I will never forget. I can still vividly remember the first time I heard their little hearts beating, or the image of them moving in the womb. I simply cannot understand those who would suggest that these tiny babies be killed and cut from the womb.
I am often shocked and dismayed at those who support the barbaric practice of abortion. A number of states have egregious versions of this law allowing babies to be killed right up until birth. Both of my biological children were born early, one 10 weeks and the other 3 weeks early. Those who suggest that the practice of abortion is not murder, simply do not understand the process.
The Overturn Earthquake ~ Back to the States
The recent Supreme Court decision upheld Dobbs versus Jackson’s Women’s Health Organization, which nullified Roe versus Wade. This opinion did not outlaw the barbaric practice, but rather returned this subject to the state. This point has been distorted to say the least. However, it is clear that the recent decision brought us back in line with Constitution. It is now up to each state to determine abortion laws, and only a handful have completely outlawed abortions. Fortunately, Texas is one of those states. This is only the case because the grassroots have consistently pushed for this outcome.
While I believe that it is only a small minority, there are extremists including the media that are spreading lies and misinformation on this. The thing you hear the most is that women will die without the ability to get abortion on demand in every state. This simply is not true. There are no states that currently have laws that would prevent women from getting life-saving medical care under any circumstance. In addition, lets not forget that, since Roe V Wade, there have been over 60 million abortions in the United States alone. So don’t talk to me about people dying, while you endorse the killing of over 60 million babies.
I do think there is a high level of ignorance among the pro-choice movement. If you do happen to fall into this category, I would encourage you to do a little more research on the mechanics of this brutal practice, particularly in the latter terms, where the baby is literally cut into pieces and removed from the womb. Of course after they are brutally killed, their body parts are sold for medical experiments. If you support this kind of practice, your are a special kind of evil.
Whatever your views on this subject, the Supreme Court got it right. This was and how our Constitution was designed to work. Now the work needs to be done at the state level. There are currently only 13 states that abortions are outlawed. This needs to increase. The establishment is not going to do this on their own, but rather it will be the grassroots. So please, get involved and make a difference for future generations.
