Are We a Third Political Party?
No. We are an independent group of conservative Republican voters who wish to remove current political leaders who refuse to secure our border, our electric grid, and our elections, who refuse to pass legislation to block medical mandates and child gender modification, who close our churches, declare us non-essential, lock us down, and mask us up. We seek to discover and promote genuinely conservative candidates of moral integrity to challenge establishment RINO Republicans, fake conservatives, and compromised politicians. We look for leaders with the courage and ability to protect life, liberty, and property without compromise and without enriching themselves. We seek to accomplish this through Republican Primary Elections. The Republican Party of Texas cannot endorse one Republican over another in a primary. They are most active in general elections against Democrat candidates.
We want to hold our elected officials accountable to their promises and our conservative priorities. We seek to wake up, educate, and activate ourselves and the voters of Cooke County and to engage our local officials in regard to conservative issues. We bring candidates and various experts to a local venue for the benefit of Cooke County citizens.
We Are a GPAC but Not a Non-Profit Organization
We are not a non-profit organization. We are registered with the Texas Ethics Commission as a General Political Action Committee (GPAC). We can campaign for or against candidates, legislation, and issues. Cooke County Conservatives was formed in the spring of 2021 by 7 board members. We held our first event in July 2021. We “pass the bucket” at meetings to help with general expenses. We board members contribute to the cause and do not take a dime for ourselves. We accept political donations for our GPAC account which can be used for political activities.
